Panthers X Posh Nosh

By Posh Nosh | 28th August 2026

Following a successful first season providing freshly prepared meals for the Nottingham Panthers’ away fixtures, Posh Nosh is delighted to renew its partnership with the club for the full 2026/27 season.

Throughout last season, Posh Nosh prepared and delivered around 30 fresh meals each week, ready to be loaded onto the Panthers team coach before away matches.

Ahead of continuing the partnership, Panthers Head Coach Danny Stewart and Lead Sports Therapist Laura-Jo Bowler visited Posh Nosh to taste the food and review the options available to the players, ensuring the meals were both suitably nourishing and that they tasted great.

What we offer

The focus has remained on producing proper, freshly prepared food using good-quality ingredients and offering plenty of variety across the season.

Typical options include:

  • Lasagne
  • Pasta Bolognese
  • Chicken, tomato and mascarpone pasta
  • Mac and cheese
  • Meat and vegetable chillies
  • Curries
  • Rosemary and sea salt roast potatoes
  • A changing selection of accompanying dishes and meal options

The menu is varied throughout the season to give the players plenty of choice across a long campaign, while keeping the focus on fresh, filling and tasty meals that travel well and are easy for the team to take with them on away fixtures.

From a trial to a full partnership

The relationship has developed significantly since that initial trial.

The agreement was negotiated with Jordan Kelsall, who combines playing for the Panthers with his work in Business Development for the club.

Following the success of the food service during the first season, Posh Nosh has now agreed to continue supplying the team throughout the complete 2026/27 campaign.

But this year the relationship goes much further than supplying meals.

Posh Nosh will also be supporting the Panthers Business Club, providing an opportunity to build relationships with the many other organisations and businesses connected with the club.

We’ll also be a match-day sponsor for one of the Panthers’ home fixtures, while season tickets included within the partnership will allow members of the Posh Nosh team to enjoy Panthers home games throughout the year.

For us, that’s an important part of the relationship.

This isn’t simply about putting a Posh Nosh logo next to the Panthers name. We want our team to enjoy the partnership, support the club and become part of the wider Panthers business community.

Supporting a Nottingham success story

The Panthers’ achievements during the 2025/26 season made the first year of our relationship particularly memorable.

They lifted the Continental Cup before going on to win the Challenge Cup, capping an outstanding season for the club and reinforcing the Panthers’ position at the heart of professional sport in Nottingham.

For Posh Nosh, which has spent more than 25 years building its own business in the East Midlands, supporting another ambitious local organisation feels like a natural fit.

Fresh food, reliably delivered.

There’s also a wider story behind the partnership.

Whether we’re feeding a professional ice hockey team, supplying one of our workplace Micro Market Hubs, delivering corporate catering or sending our deli vans to major events, the fundamentals are remarkably similar.

Customers need food that is:

Freshly prepared.
High quality.
Consistent.
Delivered when promised.
And food that people genuinely want to eat.

Our large central kitchen in Ilkeston gives us the ability to prepare food at scale while maintaining the quality and consistency on which Posh Nosh has built its reputation.

For the Panthers, that means around 30 individually prepared meals can be produced, packed and transported to Nottingham each week, ready and waiting before the team coach leaves for its next away game.

For a workplace customer, the requirement might be several hundred meals delivered into a Posh Nosh Hub every day.

For an event, it could mean deploying several deli vans and serving hundreds of people in a matter of hours. The scale changes. The principle doesn’t.

We are looking forward to another season together.

Simon Leadley, Director of Posh Nosh said:

“We’re really pleased to be continuing our partnership with the Nottingham Panthers. Last season was the first year we supplied the players with food for their away fixtures and it worked extremely well.

Having Danny, Laura-Jo and Jordan visit us and taste the food was important because ultimately, we want to make sure we’re providing meals that are both suitable for the players and genuinely enjoyable

We’re proud to be supporting one of Nottingham’s leading professional sports teams. After such an incredible season for the Panthers last year, winning both the Continental Cup and Challenge Cup, we’re excited to see what the new season brings.

We’re also looking forward to becoming more involved through the Panthers Business Club, our match sponsorship and giving members of the Posh Nosh team the chance to get behind the Panthers at home games.”
